Re: Are these Movies in the Public Domain?? |
Hi,
According to our volunteer, Skip, who looks this stuff up for us:
These are Public Domain:
The Jungle Book (1942)
The North Star (1943)
Behave Yourself (1951)
Corregidor (1943)
Glorifying the American Girl (1929)
Becky Sharp (1935)
The Beachcomber - aka - Vessel of Warth (1938)
The 39 Steps (1935)
These have had their copyright renewed:
Go West (1925)
At War with the Army (1950)
And these we're not sure about:
The Divorce of Lady X (1938) - British, so we don't know.
As You Like It (1936) - Not sure, could be foreign title.

Re: Are these Movies in the Public Domain?? |
thank you for your fast reply
Yes "AS YOU LIKE IT" was made in england
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0027311/
But it was an Twentieth Century Fox production
BTW, I just finished the upload of another addition to the Internet Archive Buster Keaton collection
http://www.archive.org/details/SpeakEasily
that need to be moved to the Feature Films section ...
